Piçarra, sole trader (empresário em nome individual, Portugal), tax ID (NIF) 277576288, address Av. Reinaldo dos Santos, n.º 1, Bloco 2, 3.º B, 2675-688 Odivelas, Portugal. Contact: vatwise.eu@vatwise.org.

2. The service

VATwise is an AI-assisted VAT analysis tool. Each analysis uses one credit. New users get 3 free analyses.

3. Prices and credits

15-credit pack: €19. 50-credit pack: €49. Credits never expire. Enterprise: custom quote. Online purchase of packs is not open yet.

4. Not tax advice

Analyses are generated automatically by AI for information only; they may contain errors or omissions and do not replace advice from a qualified professional. Have them validated by your specialist before any decision.

5. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, VATwise is not liable for indirect damage, lost profit, penalties, interest or taxes arising from decisions based on the analyses. In any event, total liability is capped at the amount paid by the customer in the previous 12 months. Mandatory consumer rights are not affected.

6. Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer, you generally have 14 days from purchase to withdraw from the contract without giving a reason, under Portuguese Decree-Law 24/2014. Just send us a clear statement at vatwise.eu@vatwise.org; we refund you using the same payment method within 14 days at the latest.

Exception — digital content and services: credits give immediate access to a digital service. At purchase you are asked to expressly consent to immediate performance and to acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal once you use the first credit of the pack.

Unused credits: if you have not used any credit from the pack, you may withdraw within 14 days for a full refund. Once the first credit has been used, or after 14 days, remaining credits are non-refundable, but they never expire and remain available. Your statutory rights for non-conforming services are not affected.

7. Disputes

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. For consumer disputes you may use an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) entity, in particular CNIACC — Centro Nacional de Informação e Arbitragem de Conflitos de Consumo (www.cniacc.pt, geral@cniacc.pt). List of entities: www.consumidor.gov.pt and consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu. You may also file a complaint in the Livro de Reclamações Eletrónico (Portuguese electronic complaints book).
